RE: Red Dead Pixel !

im surprized noone even bothered to look at this game... well lets break it down

Graphics 7/10

I gave it a 7 mainly because its warior ware... graphics of course arent the main portion of the game itself, as it is mainly wrapped around the mini games. I will say that there are mini games with good graphics in them, using the two screens. But for a good portion of the mini games the top is basically the instructions and the bottom is the actual game.

Sound 10/10

If u know me then u know a big portion of how good a game is to me is the sound quality. Wario Ware: Touched! gives that to me ith all of the zany sound effects and speed increasing background music, as in the previous games. Each set of sounds and music for each character whos agmes you will play is different and fits perfectly for the games you will be playing. In otherwords... i dont play without the volume up ^^

Gameplay 10/10

Lets see... play a bunch of addictive micro games faster and faster, harder and harder, til either you drop the stylus, pass out of exhaustion, or lose all 4 of your lives.... did some1 say awesome? Yes im a mini game fan and having 180 micro games stuffed into this little cartidge will keep fans of the series busy for hours on end (how else do you think i get through school everyday....) As you know every few lvls the speed increases... and so do the games, and after you beat the boss round you get a "level up" which basically means get ready cause the micro games u just went through will be tougher. And believe me.... the third round+ gets hard....

The game itself is played with the stylus only... except for the 20 microphone macro games, and the pause button of course. The game is smooth and the movements with the stylus are quick and easy (heh well as long as u have a steady hand for those harder levels). How well you can weild a stylus.... yes i said weild =P... means nothing if you dont know how to play a certain micro game. There is an album mode in the game where you can practice all the harder mini games until you are good at them, but you can only play the games after youve played them once in the actual game. This game definately has great, addictive gameplay that will make you weild that stylus like a jedi knight ^^

Lifespan 9/10

This game will last you a long, long time, because there are a lot of micro games, a bunch of characters, and a bunch of peers wanting to beat your high scroe ^^ (believe me people literally take the DS out of my hands and start saying theyre gonna beat my high scores... til they lose ^^) 180 micro games, split into 9 characters, plus about 5 more who use games from some of the others and probably the craziest, and most bizzare part of the game all together is the "Toy Room." Basically, when u beat a character, you get a souveneer from them. But, it isnt what you think. Most people think at first its a new micro game or something of that sort.... which like 1 or 2 of them are... but your in for a surprize. When you get a jiggling piece of jello as a prize... yes thats right put the stylus on it and jiggle it around if you must... most people think "Why...." Well, this is a crazy game.... might as well add things even more insane than the games themselves right?

The one drawback of this game is the lack of multiplayer (hence 9/10 no 10/10). Nintendo could have definately made this a multiplayer game if they tried, (such as teh GC version, even though the GBA version was not). Plus, the game seems perfectly able to handle it too. So why would they leave it out is the question I'm asking. Oh well, back to trying to top 50 on the golden bear (its a very hard stage)

Summary

All in all its a great game for everyone. The minigames are fast and fun, and sometimes funny to watch. The toybox is....well interesting. This game will leave you with a lot to come back to, and more. Lack of multiplayer is a drawback though, but is not needed if you play "who gets the highest score" with your buddies.

Overall = 9/10
