i know how you can make them change it..
ive done this a few times with old GC or w/e games. You walk in and ask how much youd get for it, then they say the ammount, you say WHOA! EB games is taking it for more (and give ammount, even if it aint truthful) then just leave and then come back sometime later and it may be higher... its worked for me. i sold Tony Hawk 2 for 20 when at 1st they said theyd give me 15$ for it.

it seems fair to me. they wanna rip you off so turn it around and beat them at their own game.
