I have nothing agaisnt signatures - I think are they are a massive part of the community.

The only reason I brought up restricting their size was because of complaints I had recieved from other members who found it annoying and obtrusive to have such big sigs and such slow loading pages (in some cases).

If the majority of 'active' forum users want the sigs to stay then I guess it would be ignorant to ignore that and take them off but then again, you must understand from my (and other mods position) - when we recieve complaints we try to find a compromise to solve them and make the forums better for everyone.

I thought turning sigs on/off as an option would be that solution. Again, keep your feedback coming and i'll talk with the other mods and Allen until so we can get the site better for all users!

Note - the 'turning off' of sigs was going to be via a optional link to each member. WE never talked about permenantely removing sigs. Just to clear that up![/b]
