RE: splinter cell
I used to visit this very often, and even posted some (not very much) in these forums. I was beginning to get bored with my DS, due to a lack of games I guess.
My solution: The PSP. The PSP is awesome! Great capabilities, awesome graphics, and what really got me was the multimedia functions. I liked downloading MP3s, and watching the Spiderman UMD. Very cool device. I even took a trip using a map and directions I loaded onto my PSP from my computer (all I did was save the pitures and directions in paintbrush as a jpg, and transferred it to my PSP).
A strange thing happened only a few weeks after I purchased my PSP. I started to become bored with the PSP, due to lack of games. Once the 'coolness' factor wore off, it sort of got sent to the shelf, and shortly theirafter got shipped off as I sold it.
The PSP has some awesome features, but to me, the games were not the thing I was impressed most with. I basically just tinkered with downloading stuff from the net onto it through the USB cable. The PSP was a nice system, but I really only need one portable, and that is really all I can afford. I may get a PSP again when the prices go down (WAY down), but I surprisingly after owning both systems decided on the DS (thanks to cool TOUCHING games like Warioware Touched).
