Have you tried upping the clock speed? From the normal 222Mhz, try 266Mhz (I think that's what it is...). If it still lags, then try the 333Mhz option. I haven't tried out the latest version of the SNES emulator, so I don't know how well it performs. That's all the options you have, I believe.
