RE: Prince of Persia DS
so, marth, would you say there would be no bias here? Youve been since december 2004 and posted what, 1850 something posts. Id think people are more likely to team up with you. And if at least, we should have gone in a Gamecube forum so people could relate a little more. And how did this argument spread to cheating in general? In our chat, we were talking about SSBM when i referred to HAL possibly removing wavedash and l cancel in a SSB for the rev.. We all know cheating is wrong morally, but like ive said around 10 times before, SSBM is different, Nintendo didnt take it out though they realised it. And they dont stop it in tourneys. In other games officals run like mad to stop bugs and hacks in the game. Even on consoles, they have people to regulate tourneys. Nintendo is a well known company, with only 2 other names matching up in size and fame. I think being a leading company in the video gaming industry would lead you to take care of their games. Nintendo does fine, they regulated the fact that hyrule temple should be taken out of normal tourney play because of fox's exterme ability to snipe with his blaster from ledges. I think that IS good regulation. If they notice something character specific, i doubt they wont notice something available for ALL characters.
If you keep saying that nintendo doesnt regulate tourney play even after my post, you are just saying nintendo officials are the dumbest fools in gaming to notice blaster spamming but not the pivitol l cancel.
Also, if you want to see major l cancel in action, do Link's dair and l cancel it, he wll pull hsi sword out almost instantly and is ready to go in a matter of milliseconds.
I agree with theEmptyPage, wavedashing is more physics than a glitch. Newton's 1st law, opjects in motion will stay in motion unless a force is acted upon it. Wavedashing, you ari dodge diagonally. Since you run in before the move is finished, you continue to move forward until the friction catches up to you. The characters' different traction changes the distance so thats more of game physics which were implemented into the game purposelly, obviously.
Edit: Sorry, ssbmdemon18 said that about wavedash traction too
