Do it in a quiet room. We trained his computer at my house, and it's not exactly perpetual silence, nor was it then. It worked quite well still though. The biggest problem was when it would print words he hadn't said, or didn't know the word he was saying, but considering games would be working from a set vocabulary, this wouldn't be a problem.
