In the same breath though, SM, they will have lost a lot of sales by playing it this way. Had they released the games a month apart, fans of both would be easily, in most cases at least, get both games. Now we have already seen that some are having to choose between one, and perhaps leaving the other in preparation for MK.
I do agree that it has improved the image and opinion of the DS though. It's no longer 'that-promising-system-with-no-games', but one that's actually living up that potential (and at least that gimmick can churn out great games, Sony!)
