DS $99 through december 12th!!

Today, we are going to take advantage of someone else's typo! Target, by mistake, had Nintendo DS listed on their catalog for $99. After further investigation Target admitted that the DS was supposed to be listed for $129. But they will still honor the typo mistake of $99.

Several ways of getting Nintendo DS for only $99.

1) Find the catalog from Nov 25th, 2005 released by Target in your local newspaper. Simply go to your local target store and get the Nintendo DS. If price problem occurs ask the manager to call (800) 440-0680 and verify the price mistake.

2) Capture the screen from Target's online catalog. Simply go here and type in "DS" in the left search box on the top. Capturing screen is extremely simple.

Capturing Screen: Simply hit "PrtSc" button on your keyboard. Then go to Microsoft Paint and go to edit > paste. Once you do that, just print the screen out.

Again take the screenshot to your local target store and if any problems occur have them call (800) 440-0680 to verify.

3) Probably the best way to do this is price match. My personal favorite! Get a copy of target's catalog or screen capture as listed above. Then go to any other store such as Best Buy or Circuit City and ask them to price match. To save yourself some time, call the local target stores and verify if they have Nintendo DS in stock. Then, its easier to price match once you let the people at Best Buy or Circuit City know which branch to call for price match.

Also, take the following letter by printing it when you go to a Target store. You can keep this handy, just in case.

Thanks for your e-mail about The Nintenedo Dual Screen in the 2005 Holiday Catalog. The ad is a misprint, as the price in the system should be $129.99. However, Target is honoring the ad price of $99.99 if you are able to bring in a copy of the catalog. If you have any trouble at the store, have them call us at (800) 440-0680 and we will be able to assist you then. Keep in mind the catalog price expires on December 12th, 2005.

We always welcome your questions, so if we can assist you in the future, please contact our Target Guest Relations team at (800) 440-0680. You can also speak with a team member at the Guest Services Desk at your local Target store, or visit us on Target.com. Either way, we’re here to help!

Thanks for shopping with us. I hope we’ll see you again soon at Target.
