Got an email from Milkman today (Milky is 1up's executive editor, he's also a really cool guy) in response to a thank you PM I sent him...
"Great post. Had to pick you as a winner. Thanks for the professional club entry and for reading and really examining what I busted my ass on so hard to bring to you guys. I wanted to make sure people read the story, which is why I said "Tell us what you did and didn't like about the cover." Thanks for paying such close attention and congratulations. You earned it."
Honestly, the prize pack's relatively lame...I'm just really excited that I won something! (and hey, two video games is two video games, ramen included or not)
