I guess you and TouchDS didn't notice this because you haven't had a chance to play multiplayer, but increasing your player's putting accuracy attributes actually raises your Caddy's reliability with reading the green for long putts.
I've sank 50 foot eagles in front of friends who recieve "caddy tips unavailable" on the same hole, in the same match, when they're less than 20 feet away.
I love this game, it's just a shame it's got some bugs which can interfere with the game's outcome. I've lost two games now because of it's glitchy auto-putting when you're within two feet from the hole. If you haven't experienced this anomoly yet, trust me, you will.
