The controls are just way too akward, even after getting use to them. (Droping bombs forces you to stop steering? WTF!) If they had the option to go back to classic-style controls, it would have made the whole game 1000 times better. The control issues, combined with a single-player strategy map thing that seems to do everything it can to keep you from actually getting into gameplay, would make this game a complete dud if it weren't for the saving grace of online multiplayer.

It's sad because the core gameplay finally got back to it's roots, and then had to go and get botched up by a messy single-player mode and a poor control scheme...
