Destroy All Humans: Big Willy Unleashed will be released for the Wii, PS2, and PSP. This game is being done by THQ's Locomotive studio in the bay area. I work for Sandblast Games who is working on Path of the Furon (360 and PS3).

Most console games take 2-3 years to complete. I have been working on DAH: POTF since August of last year. It's amazing actually, this is the earliest I have ever joined an in-progress game project. I keep forgetting how far we have come in the time, it is amazing.

An MMO may take 3-5 years, and handheld games 8 months to 2 years. These are all just averages of course. Usually what sets aside the great companies are how long they spend polishing a game.

The game is Pre-Alpha right now. We will hit an alpha stage later this year. Keep your eye out for updates on the game.
