I never said he didn't have a huge impact, man. Chill with the attacks.
He did revive the industry when it looked like death was imminent, yes. He made quite a few games that revolutionized how games were made.
I'm just saying the current state of the industry is not entirely shiggy's work. Other people have had some creative ideas too. He's had a huge impact, but he's not entirely responsible for video games as they are today.
