If you switch it to WEP, ordinary people won't be able to access your network, but more advanced users with packet sniffers and such can. The chances of someone hacking through it are quite unlikely, depending on how popular the area a few hundred feet around the router is.
You can get either the Nintendo USB connector or just about any other USB Wi-Fi adapter.
You're still wrong Arthur, a router doesn't go into a computer.
Wraith, for the sake of argument I think it's more likely that you have a misconfigured router than an incompatible router.
