About a month ago now, I visited a small independant game shop on the edge of town. The owner and I had been getting along quite well prior to this visit and before hand I had helped him out with various things like price matching against the very store I work in, Gamestation (God, if my manager found out...). As I was saying, I popped my head into "Interactive Consoles" but this time he didn't grill me about prices of games or special offers Gamestation was doing he instead offered me a raffle ticket for 3£. He explained why I should blah blah blah.... annnnnnd, the point was that on the 22nd of December there would be a prize draw. The prize? A brand spanking new Wii Console... "Why not?" I said. So I bought one ticket. Just one (I aint made of money). The interesting thing was that I saw people buying 3-4 tickets after me so there was no chance of me winning. Well, that's what I thought anyway.

The days went on and I had completely forgotten about this prize draw to be brutally honest! But, yesterday, the end of the competition, I recieved a phone call saying that I had won. HA! I didn't believe it at first then the woman made it cear and asked why I wasn't at the shop because there was a big crowd waiting for thier number to be drawn. I was ill :( "ahhhh ok, no worries, when you get better, just come and collect it would ya?" So my dad took me to town to collect it. That was nice of him. Free Wii anyone? Merry Christmas x
