Let's start at square one. I'm convinced that it doesn't have Wi-Fi because Nintendo wouldn't forget to put the logo on their own game. Since I don't actually own the game, I can't really prove whether it has Wi-Fi or not. So, I'll just ask the people who do own the game some questions and the answers will help determine if it has Wi-Fi.
To make it simple, only answer with "Yes", "No", or "I don't know". Only people who own New Super Mario Bros. can answer.

1. Can you play with people very far away, such as on the other side of the country or world?
2. Are there friend codes?
3. Is there anything within the game that says "Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection" or "Nintendo WFC"?
4. Did the game come with a Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Instruction Booklet?
5. If you turn off your wireless router or Nintendo USB Connector, can you still play multiplayer through what you believe to be Wi-Fi?
6. Do you play with many different people that you don't know or see?

Ok, I think that's enough.
