Pilot, do you honestly care if the moving set of pixels on your computer screen in your dark room got to your monitor illegally?
If you do, you honestly need a wake up call. You can't steal a non-physical entity, it just doesn't make sense. It's just data, and you honestly need to chill on that. It's for that reason why I think it's pointless paying to download music on itunes. Why the **** would I spend actual money to download a piece of data which i can just download for free? I'm all for buying music still, heck i do, i want to have the actual hard copy in front of me.
And this whole paying monthly buisness is stupid in the first place. **** Xbox Live, there i said it. I'm sick and tired of this being the pinnacle of an Xbox fanboys argument. It's pathetic, normally people have good games to boast about over their system, but what have MS fanboys got left on their exclusive lists? Their falling testament, Halo 3, as it were for most of last year, was so looked forward to for its frickin online experience. I'm sorry, but what the hell is wrong with making a game with a greatly polished single player? And please, for the life of me don't mention the words 'Mass' or 'Effect'; Bioware can get bent.
My point here is that a systems merits should be based around improving the user experience, whether this means being more intuitive in terms of user input or some kind of new 'innovation'. Secondly it should also have a healthy amount of solid exclusives and first party offerings that don't fall back on the use of online or the promise of more 'downloadable content', which, will inevitably cost you even more. You're looking at a £45 game, plus your Live subscription for the year and then the odd few quid here and there to bolster your game. This whole just honestly needs to calm the **** down.
