Funny, I thought I researched it and found that BF2 was released after the acquisition. Another check reveals I was wrong. That explains why BF2 still has some unique gameplay features and is more fun than any EA developed game I've ever played. Well, on second thought, Generals/Zero Hour and Tiberium Wars comes pretty close, but that's it, not one other EA developed game has over an hour on my Xfire profile. I guess since that doesn't put much ground on my opinion that EA sucks because I should be playing more than a few hours to determine the quality of a game, it might help to mention that I've played several NFS games for PC and NFS:U2 for DS and several games for PS1, and some of them have lasted a few hours, but in the end they got boring and most of them these days are really only good for the flashy graphics. If that doesn't tell you EA sucks, think about how they keep buying out some of the best developers, and how it takes some 2-5 minutes for their home page to load enough to even be navigable (on my 8.8mbit cable!).
BTW, have you seen how EA literally destroyed the DICE logo? Just look at it, it's hideous compared to the original!
