What dose the golden shovel do thats different from a normal shovel?

if you get the gold shovel you can Bury money and then you can grow a money tree.....
I've done it before but i lost the tree because it looks like a nomal tree!

But theres a higher chance of it growing with a Golden Shovel. Using the Golden Shovel increases growth rate in general for trees, other than that its easy to obtain and its something to collect I suppose.
