Adding to what Pilot said, there is alot of fossil records to support the flood. For example, there are records (and pictures) of a fish in process of swallowing another one or even one with an absurdly arched back, showing a quick death.

Um, ok... Fossils of great floods I've seen. No big suprise there. As for the flood killing the dinosaurs, that's something I have a problem with, but I doubt that's what you mean to suggest. As for a fish dying abrubtly in a flood I don't see that as being an extremely likely event. Especially a 40 day flood.

There's several ways the fish could've died: heat from volcanoes, pressure by being trapped, not enough oxygen available in the water, mudslides caused by earthquakes, and then there's the rapidly receding water that could leave fish to suffocate and likely get buried in the mud. Lots of possibilities, probably a lot more than the others (almost all the rest probably just drowned and sank in the mud at the bottom).
