No, not necessarily. I won't make a big fuss about people kidding around if it's obviously kidding around and I'll probably even go along with it. What I do make a fuss about and is the case here is when your kidding around is taken seriously or even offensively by others.
If you're kidding and you want people you understand that you're kidding, it helps to put a clear sign next to it like "jk". I noticed you put a tongue smiley a couple lines under it, but it either went unnoticed or people didn't recognize it as a clear sign. Even then, as everyone should very well know, people may still take offense to something you're clearly joking about and it should be up to you to try not to offend people.

I agree with /\. Don't post things on the forum if they could cause upset. The forum needs to expand and that's not how it'll happen.
