Don't want to burst anyones bubble or anything, but should things like that really be posted on here? Yes, I know they're only posted as a joke, but some people may really take offence to things like that. Just thought I would point that out.

My oh my... what have I started?
![]() I did notice that you don't care, Mormon. Maybe you should because it may actually affect the population here on TouchDS. People don't want to join a forum where all they get back is abuse or ridicule from yourself/what you post. I'm not saying that all of your posts are like that because I know they're not, but maybe you should just have a think about it and think about what you're posting before you do post. Mormon, I think you're confusing arguing with debating. Arguing for the sake of it is petty and irrelevant, and is not necessarily needed in order to "make you think". You can make people think simply by expressing another point of view for people to discuss, even if you don't agree with it. But still, there is no need for the irrelevant crude posts that you sometimes post, such as the last one which people may be disturbed by if they are against animal cruelty, whether you think it's a joke or not.
You see, I'm not arguing with you, I'm simply putting across another point of view for you to look at and think about. I'm a very open minded person and was not personally offended by the image, but other people might have been which is what you should think about for the forums sake. ![]() |

I don't understand why anyone would argue with an opposite point of view than they actually believe (with the purpose of making other people believe it) except to hide something or annoy other people. It seems to me that the only reason you (Mormon) argue is solely to get on other peoples' nerves rather than to be constructive. It's not constructive to say, for example, you don't care about other peoples' feelings if that's not what you believe, it's destructive of your own reputation and deservedly so.

Ok for one, I totally fail to see how this pic of some guy's kitten in a blender with no blade in it is offensive.
And secondly, I treat arguing as debating. If it's going to be a stupid argument with no real intelligent discussion, then yeah I agree that's not constructive. I argue the other side of an argument to make people think. If everyone agrees with me and then I turn it around on them, it forces them to think and then gain some real conviction in what they think. Let's say I'm going to vote for Barack Obama. So is the guy next to me. He's talking about it with me and the people around me. He seems very ignorant of Obama's stances and politics as a whole. I'll argue the case of Hilary Clinton, despite how much I despise the woman, because this guy needs to realize that he really needs to research it more.

Blade or no blade, the picture clearly shows a cat being abused by being shoved in a blender. If you can't see that then I suggest that you open your eyes.
I have no clue when it comes to American politics, but I don't see why you would argue the case of someone [or something] that you don't like just to make someone else think twice about their decisions. I agree with what Pilot said: Quote:
