Comments, arguments as to why I may be incorrect.

Ahh, good old gametalk. Remember that mormon?

Look, I'm pretty sure what you're talking about is a balance issue. Well, there's not much to be said about that... If it's a balance problem, that's all she wrote. Either agree to do or not do something before, or don't play. It's not like the many issues like glitches and exploits, it's plain and simple bad development.

Lol. Ah, just like the Snaking argument (almost).

You're obviously not wrong for using it... but still, auto-aim is pretty cheap. And only noobs consider using it.

Its not so much a balance issue as the cheapness factor.

If one does nothing but shoot charged missiles, that is cheap. However, if there is nothing else one can do, then is it really cheap (the magamaul is a short range grenade launcher esque thing)? I try to play a good game (by switching weapons when applicable) but he doesnt give me that window as all he does is run.

It may be a Godsend for n00bs but why would you not want to take advantage of it? Sylux's shock coil gives you HP. If you were Sylux, would you not want to take advantage of it?

Either way, if youre a good enough player, you know that there are plenty of good counters to charged missiles. Its not like I spam them either. Given the choice between a Judicator and missiles, i take the former since it takes more skill and is moreso rewarded. I use missiles when I deem it necessary.

... Fox, the cheapness and spammability of a weapon is part of the balancing. Besides, in my experience (though limited to about 3-5 hours of playing) the homing is not too incredibly great.

Sylux's shock coil can easily be countered by Alt Mode.

Obviously, you'd want to take advantage in order to win (according to you)... but it's the fun that counts. Annihilating someone with autoaim isn't exactly fun or exciting (for both players).

Really? Well then, I dont see why someone would have the right of arguing then. If they complain, it must be from their lack of knowledge for I see plenty of faults in spamming the missiles, not that I do that.

Personally, I believe the game is fairly well balanced since all the hunters have their especially cheap points (Trace has that headshot and run, Sylux has the alt spam and shock coil spam, Weavel with turrets over impossible ledges, etc...).

And missiles can be fairly well counterd in the same fashion. There are counters to everything.

I agree, using only autoaim drains the fun from gameplay (unless the opponent has a brain and knows how counter) but like I said, I make use of no such thing unless the situation requires it. And sniping with the Judicator is much more fun anyways. =P
