9/11 was a conspiracy just like the Holocaust never happened, and that Leprechauns actually exist.
Oh wait. Anyways, some say that their "goal" was for 9/11 to blame someone, in order to get their oil. But that's a bunch of bull, imo. I didnt check out the stupid videos (cause I have a life) so I don't really care. xD [/pointlesspost]

Well there's another point. Why would they blow up the pentagon? The world trade centers were MORE than enough to cause public sentiment, and hitting the pentagon would cause the military unnecessary troubles, and wouldn't generate nearly a fraction of the public sentiment that the WTCs did. Was their insurance nearly up too?

My best guess for a reason is for the war promotion, they wanted the terrorist plan to be a big one which attacked major political and military landmarks. The damage was contained in a small portion of the Pentagon; from the sound of it only some offices were destroyed, so I don't really think it caused the military all that much trouble.
The story goes that they were sending 2 planes to attack the White House, but the one couldn't find it after circling the area a couple times and then decided to hit the Pentagon, while the other one was stopped by the passengers and flown straight into the ground in the middle of nowhere. It's not much for evidence, but is the White House really that hard to see from the air? I'm sure the terrorists would have some sort of reference of what it would look like while they were planning it, such as a flight sim or satellite images available online (it was before Google Earth, but there were other sites offering satellite imagery at the time). It just doesn't seem very likely that 2 planes targeting such a valuable landmark would be stopped not by military action, but by bad planning. What puzzles me about that, or evidence that it wasn't a plane, is the video and the wreckage. The video shows the tip of something entering the view just before the frame showing the explosion, 747's don't have a tipped nose like that. If I remember correctly, only one man died at the Pentagon even though 3 of the walls were damaged; is it normal for the Pentagon to be so empty? The wall furthest in had a perfect circular hole knocked out of it, I sort of doubt a full-size commercial plane would do that, but I could expect that from a missile or maybe even a small jet plane. I saw no evidence of 747 wreckage, or even any wreckage that wasn't part of the building. I would also expect to see damage from the wings, but I saw none, and the wings on commercial jets are strong. Also, why did they do a sweep for every small bit of material in the lawn? They shouldn't need to do that unless they had something to hide. Wreckage from both the WTC and the Pentagon was whisked away to some unknown location rather than kept as evidence, and where's that black box from the Pentagon plane? |

It took me approximately fifteen seconds to find information contradicting that bull**** Pilot. Only three people died? Try 189. That's 64 on the plane and 125 in the buildings.
