RE: HD on the revolution is possible

Well as we have seen, some people like the playstation and some don't so lets compare the PS2 to its competitor which was, at the time, the N64.

Which one do you believe was better and why?

For me it's the n64 as the games were really good and so was the controllers and 4 player games rocked!

I had both and I really enjoyed both of them. It's a hard decision. As a child, I LOVED the N64. But now as I matured, I'm starting to play old PS games. Playstation for me.

RE: the playstation or the N64?........

This is a difficult choice for me. I only owned a Playstation due to it being "cool", and I won't lie I found some of my favourite series on there... Final Fantasy series, Crash Bandicoot series and a few other games which I particularly enjoyed.

Maybe it's because I've played 'most' (even though it's likely a fraction of the most) of the great PS games that I wish I bought an N64. Although I didn't have multiplayer, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, the two Zeldas (just got into the games recently having aquired Wind Waker), Paper Mario and some other of the Rare games... Awesome...

RE: Re: Sexay Avatar Week!

Affirmative team

1st Justification- The Playstation was the first system with built in duel shock.
2nd Justification- The Playstation's graphics were a little more smooth
3rd Justification- The Playstation gould also Play CDs

I now stand for Cross Examination

1. N64 First to use an analog stick
2. 4 players standard
3. Faster loading games

RE: Thaman to be banned

I had to go with N64, not because it was Nintendo. I loived the N64 because it had the games that I wanted and appealed more to my likings than what Playstation had to offer. The rumble pak and Zelda games were 2 things that i will not forget. Oh, and Perfect Dark. Magic.

RE: the playstation or the N64?........

The second speaker for the affirmative team is Thaman

The analog stick was very unstable and flimsy compared to the Playstation's analog stick

There were really not many four player games

The games that losded fast were not as good quality graphics as the Playstation's slow loading games. So Judges, would you rather have a fast loading, low-qualty game or a slow loading, good quality game?
Thank you and please vote affirmative.

im going with the playstation, my first "proper console" that i actually played and was mine fully. (my dad had a SNES that i only started playing a few years ago when i found it in the attic). i loved crash before it went to vivendi, final fantasy vii and of course tekken.

Well, it's not a great example, but I'd have to say... faster loading!

The N64 had similar graphics to the Playstation, IMO. Although I used to hate the controller, the analog on Nintendo consoles ARE mmuch better.

All about opinionts though!
