I wouldn't say it's cheating.

To me, cheating is like entering a code where it gives you unlimited this, unlimted that, or unlocks something. It's just a technique I guess, whether the developers use it, or not.

It doesn't have to have a code to be a cheat. It's called an exploit. To not realize it you'd have to be a complete noob.
