Ah yes, good point. The lack of the AI doing so, however, isn't 100% confirmation, but it does go towards the point that it's not part of the game. None of the Staff Ghosts doing it might as well be full confirmation.

there are plenty of things the ai doesnt do....the shortcut in bowsers castle....and some staff ghosts will power boost 2+ times on corners which is basically snakin

i don't care whether its cheating or not but it bothers me that people wanna be fags and go into regional/worldwide and just snake through everything, and leave the noobs in the dust and hating the game. i know 4 people so far who played online for a while but just gave it up after playing so many snakers. nintendo hates those snaker punks for giving people a good reason not to go online, most casual gamers don't exactly want to keep playing after getting lapped by people constantly.

snake if you're with snakers, don't if you're not. end of story.

you're all a bunch of idiots, it cannot possibly be considered cheating. IT'S PROGRAMMED INTO THE GAME! cheating is using things to your benefit that are not programmed into the game. You're stupid if you don't snake.

Are you kidding? It's part of the game design…if you don't learn how to gain that extra boost by powersliding, you'll get your ass handed to you. It's a skill that's learned, not a cheat that's exploited. And people who cry foul when someone's power boosting is too lazy to learn how to do it themselves.

edit: and yea its programmed into the game, for turns. and cheats ARE programmed into the game, o all-knowing moron. i wonder why saying "power overwhelming" in starcraft makes your units invincible... could it be that the programmers put it in there?!?!? NO WAY!!! thats programmed into the game... so thats not cheating... right? ._.
