Weekly debate 2#: who will win last round?

this gens consoles are coming to an end and with a less a year - year till the successors are released, it leaves one question, who will be on top at the end?
sales aside, we are talking about huge releases near the end of each current consoles life cycle.
i think it will be the gamecube- zelda any one?

Gamecube hands-down. Sony and Microsoft don't loook to be pushing a lot of games now for there current consoles. Another great year of a ton of Mario games, plus Zelda. Gamecube will come back and crush the PS2, and the margin isn't even that large right now.

Well, the only thing I can think of for the PS2 is Final Fantasy XIII, Kingdom Hearts 2, Dragon Warrior VIII and a few other RPGs but Game Cube on the other hand has LOZ. Which is hands down one of the coolest looking games around. But as a RPG fan, I'd go with PS2.

yeah... ps2 and xbox arent really gettin anything(especially xbox) so i think LOZ:TP will push forward GC sales

yea gamecube a the others seem to be winding down there release to get ready for there new console

GameCube. There is a slight possibility for the PS2, but there's no doubt the GameCube will be on top when it's all over.

Shadow of the Colossus, Soul Calibur 3, and Okami? thats craziness right there

yeah i thknk PS2 may have a good chance, with the above, FFXII and even though most of you are against these type of games scarface and the godfather will be big hits.
