Adapter Help

Hey im currently thinking of purchasing some kind of supercard type adapter for my DS so i can play movies, Backups, music etc.

I live in Australia so searched ebay and found 2 different kinds...

One was the m3 slim sd adapter which apparently takes standard SD and is buy now for $120, and it says its new

the other was the Supercard mini SD version with disk, 512mb mini SD card and the adapter from Mini SD to SD and is buy it now for $140

which is more capable and easy to use for games, and which is overall a better player? also that is in aussie dollars

Try http://divineo.com, it's cheaper than eBay at the moment.

Edit: I would suggest the CF version based on my research, it's cheaper and AFAIK better.

Ive done some research and looking and ive been unable to find anyything except the GBA movie player in CF version.

The mini SD one is still on ebay for 140, which will fit nicely in my new micro :D, so would the mini SD one be any good? also can this play movies, music and ROMs eg snes, nes etc?

heres the URL

Mini SD tend to be more expensive that regular SD cards (depends on where you shop). Movies? Not so much. The backups are definite and for music it looks alright. 512MB just isn't a lot of space anymore, unless you're a fan of re-encoding your music at a lower bitrate and don't mind heavily compressed video. Might as well spring for a higher-capacity miniSD, eh?

Whatever route you go, I highly suggest buying a higher-capacity card than what is packed with them (unless it's 1GB, then you should be fine). The M3 seems like the more professional deal, though.

wait wait....realhotstuff.com has VERY cheap prices, like supercard for $40. Thanks to hacks that came out last week, it is possible to play many ds games on a gbamp. homebrew works better on CF versions. the gbamp cant play gba games like the m3 and supercard have. realhotstuff.com is where i got mine, they have many bundles. The difference between the M3 and SC is that the M3 costs more than double and plays 15 more gba games than the SC (Ive counted!). Go to gbamtmw.net for videos (look me up if you want to, ~1000 posts), you want dpg not gbm.
