I would really like to see some pictures comparing the two, just to see which model i have... i believe it is an older model due to the serial number (starting with NU400), but pictures would still be nice.

well nintendo opened like 2 new factories, so maybe there are differences between the factories? i don't know.

I thought they had some 4 factories and 2 of them were in China.
I guess I do have the digitizer dot problem since the touch screen is a bit less clear than the top screen, I'm not sure the best way to see the digitizer dots but I do notice horizontal lines when I tilt it forward a bit.

the digitizer dots arent a problem... i see diagonal lines within my touch screen and i think thats not a problem... is it?

nice photos! the nintendo DS mark under the screen looks the same in both DS's
