What do you think is the best Nintendo System ever?

I voted for Nintendo DS and it is probably the best system ever made by Nintendo.

gamecube is sweet. so many great exclusive games...

unfortunately i cannot even vote on this 1 cause u put the lower end of Nintendo's genius as the choices. My first choice on best Nintendo system would undoubtedly be the SNES. Even though it wasnt the first of Nintendo's systems, it had games on it that can never be replaced. Chrono Trigger, FF6/3, Super Mario RPG (my favorite game ever), and those are just some of the better RPGs, not even getting into all the other types of games.

Second i would have to pick the NES, of course. It was the innovation that brought us the world of video games for today, and without it we wouldnt be here right now (the forum i mean....) Classic games that started a revolution, including the mario series (mario 3 being the best of those 3 in my opinion) the zelda series (i prefered number 2 for the NES, since it was an rpg) etc etc...

My third choice, which is on your list, is the N64, mainly because of the fact that it just had sooo many good games on it, even though it wasnt revolutionary like the NES was. Goldeneye, Mario 64, StarFox.. the list goes on and on (but not as long as NES or SNES =P)

These are my opinions on the best systems ever.... notice how i do not mention graphics at all (which is really what you were refering to when u made this pole lkr). I feel that graphics really arent important to determine how great a game/system is. Its the gameplay/controlls/story/etc that create the full experience for the game, which makes gamers want more. Yes its nice to see smooth graphics once in a while, but its not that important...

Somebody voted for Nintendo 64. I already know that the DS is a lot better than the Nintendo 64.

I agree and disagree with you. Super Mario 3 is one of the best games. I did not make this poll based on graphics though. And like you said, graphics are NOT the most important things.

Sorry I forgot to add the SNES to the poll. I didn't think that that many people liked it that much. Me and my family love playing those classic games with each other.

i went old skool and picked n64,i picked that system because it was before the playstation2 and xbox and gc back then the only thing that mattered in games were its fun factor,now a days you dont see a single person buy a game because they think its fun...............all graphics
