Can images freeze on the DS?

If I leave my DS on for an extended period of time on the same screen will the images freeze onto the screen? I heard that happens to some TVs when people play video games, and I'm trying to do a Nintendogs cheat.

It's an LCD screen, so it would take a very, very, very long time.

If you leave it on the same image for a while (not sure how long... probably really long), the colours will burn onto the screen and become pernament.

That's why computers have screen savers.

Yeah, but most computer monitors are CRT, although more and more are LCD now. CRT will burn after a while. Like old televisions where you can see the "Mute" word shadowed in the corner of the screen at all times.
