1) They easily scratch. The top screen protector scratched from wiping dust off, something the DS screen will not do itself. Why play with a scratched screen protector over your screen....
2)The top screen portector has a light adhesive that is not very noticeable...until you take it off. 30 minutes of rubbing alcohol FINALLY got off the adhesive left on the DS from the screen protector. 3) The touch screen is FAR LESS responsive with the screen protector. I did not know how lightly you could touch the screen until I took the screen protector off of my touch screen. Basically save your $5 and do not buy this product. My loss can be your gain. |

The moral of the story is: never by third party peripherals. EVER. I don't think I've bought anything unofficial that has been worthwhile. Heck, Pro Action Replay cost me a new 30 dollar PS2 memory card. Wasn't too happen about that one...

RE: Re: RE: Do not buy Pelican DS screen protectors!
Don't write all of them off. I loved this case I had for my GBC. It was like a rubber skin that fit perfectly on my gameboy, but it didn't cover any of the ports or the batery cover, so I could still use my batery pack. I still have my GBC around, scratchless, because of that thing. Hmm, I really do need to get some sort of case or skin for my ds. I have heard that unsightly scratches can appear on the outside if you are not careful...
