DS GameCube compatible?

I am quite sure it doesn't happen, as the 'Cube isn't rigged for this, but imagine the things you could do linking up a DS to a GameCube.
....
Okay, so i don't mind coming up with any specific examples, but it would be quite cool. But, as the DS is much newer than the GameCube, it surely won't happen.

It isn't meant to be possible, is it? Anyone know anything? There's seemingly quite few limits to what Nintendo can commence, so they could come up with a gadget of some kind, eh? Maybe the smallest empty slot under my 'Cube culd be used for something? As far as i know, there is no use for it at all...

It is not going to happen. If you look at the past there is a lot of backward compatibility done by nitendo. With the DS it is the ability to GBA games but I have never heard of forward compatibility.

well, as Jarun said, if Nintendo made a little something to put under the GameCube, (like a upgrade) the DS will be backward compatibly with the gamecube... :P

Or something...

DS no doubt, will be Revolution compatible and Nintedo wil be foccusing on making connection between portable and console actually WORTH WHILE this time round. Connection to the gamecube would not really be worth it this time in the consoles life stage....

If the Revolution would be compatible with it then who knows how long we have to wait until that console actually comes out. Maybe if it takes to long they might make it compatible with the NGC

yea i was wondering why u called it that because not to be rude to nintendo but from wat they said at E3 i hope its not gonna be a GC2 :S

Being linked to the revolution would be so cool and mind blowing although Ninty do have to try a little bit better next time around.

Nintendo will almost definitely announce compatibility of the ds to the Revolution. BTW, has anyone found any info at all on the Revolution. All I know is that it can be used on a computer screen or a tv screen. :|
Not that important, but a good detail!
