Nwizard reports that a semi-reliable source states that Nintendo will drop the price to $129.99 just in time for Advance Wars and Nintendogs. This seems quite plausable, and might just give America a large boost. They need it too, I would love to see the DS do as well here as in Japan.

If that happens, I may get a replacement for my DS sometime in the near future (I'd really love a different colour, plus, you know how much DS' get scratched up during ten-hour Meteos sessions :))
The only problem being with that, haven't Ninty already said they'll be offering Metroid Prime free with the next batch of their little gem of a handheld? I presume MP is still out at around the same time as AW and Nintydogs?

I get the impression from reading the IGN DS mail bags that MPH may be delayed past October!

I wonder if the price will decrease here then? Does the new $129.99 DS still have Mario 64 attached? If so, or even without, it's a great deal, and hopefully will get many more owners of the DS in time for the introduction of Wi-Fi... anyone want a game of Mario Kart ;)
