I really like the gamerdad website!

I am getting so much helpful info!!! I am going out shopping tomorrow for more research on these games. I might be able to come home with a few!
Yoshi's Island DS is also a sequel to the Super Nintendo game Yoshi's Island. Years ago, Nintendo released Yoshi's Island for Gameboy Advanced as Super Mario Bros Advanced 3 Yoshi's Island. Pick that game up for him as well, if you get Yoshi's Island DS. I honestly love both games.

I think a good start might be to get my 6 year old the nintendogs, bionicle and yoshi's island DS. Then for my almost 3year old I think I will get the nintendogs, zelda GBA and yoshi island GBA.

Of course they can share too. This way they both have the nintendogs that I have heard their friends talk about cuz they have it and they both have a yoshi's island game. Then the Bionicle and Zelda game are roleplay games or adventure games.

Oh, it's not so hard to figure out. Particularly the Minish Cap (GBA Zelda).

The 3 year old who is getting the Zelda game has played Lego Star Wars on the pc, without controls, he uses the keyboard. I just wanted a game that he can see his guy and walk him around and maybe use his sword to fight. I don't think he will be trying to solve the game in any way.

I did get out yesterday and buy the games that have been suggested. I ended up gettting the Zelda 4 swords one instead of Minish Cap because I could get the 4 swords new for cheaper than a used Minish Cap.

My boys are gonna be so excited about this gift cuz I already told them that they are not getting the DS cuz one is more expensive than just a game cube that both can use. However friends of our are upgrading their kids for Christmas to the DS lite so I am buying their DS's from them at low cost!!!

Thank yo so much!!!

if you have the money, get a Lite. There are sooo many improvements. I, myself, having both, know this for a fact, Lite is better.

Animal Crossing Wild World is a great idea if your three old son likes walking the guy around and use the sword. In Animal Crossing you can walk the character around and use fishing poles along with slingshots and nets. No swords and no attacking abilities. Your son can also customize his character with clothes and hats. Also, he can customize his house with furniture, wallpaper, and Carpet.

The 4 swords one......
Thats Link To The Past....
I get it....
By the way,
to play the 4 sword adventure you need to games,
but there is also a completely different game on the cartridge, and that one is single player (but also much more difficult)

What wraith means is that the Four Swords GBA game is, in fact, a remake of the SNES version of Zelda. The Four Swords part is the multilayer aspect, which requires multiple copies of the game.
