Final Fantasy III

Anyone else really looking forward to this?

I can't wait, I have Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy II and Final Fantasy IV for GBA, and will get V and VI when they come out here.

Then I'll pretty much have a complete collection. I can't wait! :-)

Well, not everyone has a DS, so technically Yoshi is correct. =P

But I somewhat look forward to it. Too many games - no money - no time... see what girls do to you. Sigh.

Are there any plans for FFV and VI to be released or are you speculating?

Thanks for the linkages!

That's absolutely brilliant news. I'm a member of a FF forum or two and the real hardcore FF players seem to think FFVI was the pinnacle of the series. I've never had the opportunity to play it before so I guess I can experience it for myself!

On another note it's sad to see a great company like Square resorting to blatent cash-in tactics with the recent bouts of ports, "add on" FFVII titles and even the announcement of a trilogy of the PS3 FF.

(It's a shame they aren't bundled together as well, isn't it?!)

The ports are a good idea, euan. Most people these days have never played the NES and SNES games, not to mention the couple of Japanese NES games (III Included) that no one in North America had played until the ports.
