Review : Episode III revenge of the Sith

This hacked version of the DS firmware will upgrade the BIOS on your unit so you can boot your homebrew code from a GBA cartridge without a PassMe in the DS slot. It’s now available for download without any registration required. FlashMe is activated by keystroke combination SELECT+START+A+B at startup, otherwise the original firmware will load. The patch is removable by running the update program again but, you know, fair warning — as with these things if you’ve screwed your DS it’s not like you can run crying to customer support. We’re just sayin’.

It would let you run Nintendo DS code off a GBA ROM (ie x999x's X-ROM).

RE: Gameboy Micro

I do not believe so, (although I'm sure x999x would agree) that that would be a great idea.

I don't think GBA movie player/Playan can write to the CF/SD cards (which could be a problem).

RE: World Championship Poker DS: What Do You Think?

I understand what your saying,
but that's almost like saying, if it's not by microsoft i won't run it on my PC.

Homebrew opens up alot of possibilities.
