RE: stop saying that psp games are going to suck

i borrowed mario 64 from a friend and playedit, and compared it with the DS version.... MAN i was really shocked due to the graphical and color difference, mario looks much more cooler than in the 64, peach at the beggining of the game looks muich prettier than in the 64, and the last one... BOWSER!!! OMG bowser looks so CrAPpY in the 64 compared with the DS, his arms are small and ugly, and his face looks too rounded...

there are 2 possibilities: the DS is graphically better than the 64... or the proggamers have much more experience...

what do think??

graphical comparision: DS-N64

Yep. The screen is the only thing limiting the graphical capability. If you put it on a bigger screen with higher pixel count, it would rock.

GBA Movie Player?

Apparently the graphical capabilities of the DS are somewhere inbetween the N64 and the GCN. So a bit better than the 64 and a bit worse than the GCN.

RE: graphical comparision: DS-N64

The only thing that the DS is missing is some texture filtering. Other than that, it surpasses the N64 graphics by a considerable margin.

In that pic, N64 looks smoother and much nicer. The DS looks quite pixelated but it's probably the picture itself.

The N64 had texture filtering, which is something the DS lacks. That is why all the textures look so pixelated.

RE: New Advertising idea

Bigger screen for the 64 picture. Bigger screen = more pixels. More pixels = Better quality. Should the DS be hooked up to a bigger screen, it would inevitably be much better quality.

RE: New Advertising idea

right but i didnt notice those pixelated thing very often in the game... i compared the first level of both, man the DS's looks much cooler, the grass is kinda dry and that gives the level more realism, and the king bomb's mustache looks better in the DS's version, IMHO
