graphics?

ok, I really like having good graphics, I usually dont buy a game if it doesnt get a good graphics score. So i was wondering how is the DS in graphics? I know that the Mario Ds looks really good, but when i looked at the madden graphics and the Metroid graphics it kind of got my nervous about buying the DS. So can u please tell me if the DS's graphics are good or not and tell me what games u have and rate the graphics on the games! Thanks a lot!

The DS is N64 standard and better. Its not the PSP before you complain, but the DS is innovate and a lot of fun.

And Metroid worried you?! That has some of the nicest graphics on the DS.....

well some of the pictures i see were not that good, but ive never seen em from a quality magazine or anything, i got these pictures off of google lol which may have been taken with a low quality camera with bad pixels or w/e.

id hate to say something bad... but graphics mean nothing iced ^^

yea thats just my personal opinion, but im an old school gamer and i prefer NES over new games anyday... and im sure there are a lot of people that agree with me. THe problem with the gaming industry in my opinion, is that they are relying too much on graphics and not as much on gameplay anymore. Yes its nice too see the fancy colors and graphics, dont get me wrong... but compare something like FFX to FF6/3 and tell me which 1 is better. If you truely think FFX is better, than you are not much of a gamer ^^

When you see DS pictures and you think the graphics aren't that good, that doesn't mean anything. Too really see how the game is like you have too watch a video of it.

..or see it in motion. Metroid in motion is far better than any video you can view on the web.

if you actually care about graphics that much, you can't call yourself a true gamer. not to say the DS graphics are bad, but i have a problem with people who care too much about graphics.

IMO SNES + NES + N64 > PS2

How do I work that out?

Iv had my SNES and NES for 9 years now, my N64 for 5 and I stil play them weekly.
My PS2 stopped reading discs in under 6 months.. I didn't play it anyway so i traded it for a GC.

For me, gameplay is everything!
