Help..I just bought a jap DS

Hi gang

I had been trying to get a DS Lite for Crimbo in the UK for some time but as you probs know there all sold out. So a friend in work gave me an asian website to get my DS, Brilliant service got me a red and black DS, just been delivered, switched it on and guess what.....it's in japanese......should have quessed that but the site wont take it back, so im stuck with a DS that will get as much play as Ann Frank,s drum kit ........Can ne 1 help with this, when I switch it on its all in japanese, is there a way to set it to english, will it play english games with english words on screen, or maybe a website with icons on what to press etc........thank u in advance

Yes, it will play English games no problem. And to switch the language, it's really quite simple. Power it on, click the icon at the center of the bottom of the touch screen. Second, click the pink icon on the left. Then, just click the icon that looks like a globe in the middle, then select English. No problem.
