Hi All
Hi All,
I am new to this forum. I have just bought a DS for my son. I bought it online and the seller claimed to be from the UK. Upon receiving it I have found that the DS has actually come from China and has a chinese adapter with it. The person I bought it from has now disappeared with my money but luckily the DS is as described... Brand new in the box and looks like everything is in there. It is not a DS lite it is the old shape DS. I was just wondering if anyone knows if I will be able to use this over here if I buy a UK adapter and also if it will run the games bought in the UK? The instructions in the box are in english as well as chinese but I just want to check before I give it to my son. Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this. |

Actually I recommend you get into contact with Nintendo of America and ask them about it. Getting a power converter is kinda too risky.

I'm well aware of that Yoshi, you misunderstood. I checked with Nintendo before I imported mine, and it's quite all right. See this: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi..._frequency.png

OOH hay guys related to this topic, Shadow i have a question. I usually go to isreal/Palestine every year and last time i brought my ds with me and got a electric socket converter and whenever i tryed to charge my ds nothing would happen. At the same time i could charge my psp normally with it. Is there a problem with the socket converter or is it just the ds(old bulky one or lite) cant charge in that area and you must buy a ds from there? At first i thought my ds broke during the flight then when i came back to America it worked normally. (i felt really mad and wanted to break my charger and ds because i wouldnt charge).
