how easy is it to hold?

i was just wondering, is it hard to hold and balance the DS in one hand while using th stylus in the other?
i mean it has to be awkward when your moving mario around in mario ds, or playing wario ware touched.

you don't need the stylus for Mario DS. It is optional to use. it is required for mini-games. it is easy. you get used to it in no time.

Just rest the corner of the DS into the palm of the stylus hand, and it won't feel awkward.

Just looking at pictures of the DS being held is rubbish you really need to hold it for yourself. The extra wieght is surprisingly good because it feels nice to hold something thats not too light, like the SP (in comparison).

after holding the ds and playing with it, the sp seems so much lighter and smaller and the l and r buttons seems really cramped

yea the SP feels cramped now, but i have never once thought the DS controls were awkward for any game.

the gba was too small cause my hands are big so the DS is great!

The DS's buttons on the right side are not as egronomic as the original GBA, or the SP. You'll find your thumb traveling too far to the right, just over your right index finger knuckle.

Try to move your thumb in that direction without holding a DS and you'll experience a little discomfort. Now imagine that feeling for 30 minutes at a time.

Thankfully, Ninty have alread announced a design rework, I would imagine this being one of the reasons, and well, since I'm right handed, most touch enabled games don't use the ab/xy buttons.

I find it best if I play with my ds on a flat surface, or on my lap or something.
