I need reasons!!

Hello all, I have a gamecube and my parents wont let me get the nintendo ds if i dont come up with lots of reasons to buy this instead of just keeping my gamecube. If i do buy this i will have gamecube and DS then. Please list some reasons here!! (please count the number of reasons as u post plz)

Well:
1. GCN and DS connectivity possible in future, therefore it would enhance your Cube experience.

2. Will have something to keep you quiet on road-trips.

3. Can soon communicate with anyone in the world via Wifi, so you won't need a cellphone.

4. You can also use the Wifi Pictochat to get school assignments that you missed.

5. Your parents (and/or siblings) could play classic games with a new twist.

6. Comes with lights on both screens, so you won't have to buy illuminating peripherals anymore.

7. If you don't have an SP, you wouldn't really need one with the DS.

8. You get twice your money's worth by having two screens for the price of one.

9. It's a future investment, some day your Nintendo collection will be worth a lot!

10. You'll love them forever and look after them in their old age if they do this.

Say to them how much you love them... something like this. Also you can say to them that they " don't have " to buy you anything ( a present for Christmans maybe? )for the following year.

1. The DS is a portable device, I don't think you'll want to take a gamecube on a long drive.
2. The gamecube does not have wi-fi capabilities, and berely any online capabilities.
3. Offer to trade in some of your older games.
4. Tell them you could play it with your friends(imaginary or not)who have them.
5. The DS offers a very unique style of playing with the mic. , touch screen, and dual screens.
6. Backwards compatible with all gba games.
7. Recharable battery(saves much $$$)
8. Your parents can watch T.V whenever they want
9. The games are much cheaper than G.C games
10.It's very cheap for what it has to offer.

don't forget that it may also get connectivity with nintendos new revolution...

I just kept on bugging by doing things like:

1 talking about it
2 researching about it and make sure they see it (secretly )
3 tell them you will help them more around the house if you consider buying it

everybodys idears were good just sit them down and say do you have any free time to talk to them and if they say not right now just tell them tell me when you can talk and when they have time just lay down some of these reasons on them

or you can just go to your local store that has the DS and fork over your own 150 bucks... thats what i did.
