Lego Star Wars 1 and 2 questions

We have had both LSW1 and 2 for the PC for a while now, plus we have LSW1 for the game cube. Our PC is old and doesn't have good enough memory (I think that's the problem or hard drive space) to play the games well, so that is why we bought the one for the game cube. I plan on getting LSW2 for the game cube too.

Since they don't like playing the games in 2 player mode, but they enjoy playing the games side by side, like playing LSW1 on the PC and game cube at the same time... I was thinking of getting both games for the DS. From what I see the DS only has LSW2, but the GBA has both. Is there any difference in the games between the GBA and DS ones? It looks like I have to go with the GBA for the LSW1 so should I get the DS or GBA of LSW2? The nice thing about the GBA games are they are a little bigger and more easily handled by my 3 year old, but if the DS version is much better or has cooler features I guess I would buy that one...

DS version is terrible. GBA version is sub-par. Steer clear of both.

yeah, I don't recommend either of these games for DS or GBA. Of course, young children do seem to enjoy any game, but if they are demanding something really good, this wouldn't be a good title to pick up on DS/GBA. The Gamecube/PS2/PC versions are fine however.

Is it because the graphics aren't good? Or is it a different game compared to the PC or Game Cube?

trust me, nintendo fans do not care about graphics. yes the graphics are worse, but lego star wars 2 DS has a lot of problems. Read the review for it here: IGN: LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy Review
