Was it an accident or a defect? That's pretty bad. Either way, Nintendo will replace.

If you left it face up on a chair or bed, it might have been. You have a good sized dog? Looks like a dog paw might have done it.

well at least the Touch screens OK... thats probally more expensive to fix
