A Long Story of how I got my Nintendo DS!

Yesterday (Nov. 21st 2004) was the best day in my life. I left the house with my family to attend church at 10:30 am wst. got off church at 11:40. We then went on to Wal-Mart to buy the DS! I did not pre-order the system so the only way I could get my DS was purchasing it directly from the store. So I went there, I saw the DS kios for the first time and fell in love with it! (Love at First Site :oops: ) I played Metroid Prime Hunters and was impressed, the Graphics looks alot clearer in real time than it is on Internet Videos. Played it, became satisfied with it. I looked at the bottom of the shelf beneath the DS games, I was saddened to see that No DS systems where available. So I just went back to the kios DS and Touched it alot Then after that I went to the game clerk and asked if they still had the DS in stock (I thought that they had ran out) but to my suprise he said "Man your one lucky teenager!" I was about to cry. the clerk then went on to take out the Holy Grail THE !!Nintendo DS!! all in its glory. I asked the clerk how many they had in stock before I came and he said they had 20 DS's since they opened. They opened at 8:00am and they sold the last one to me :P at 12:40pm. I bought the DS along with Mario 64 DS, I was going to get Feel the Magic too but I wanted to read reviews aboutthe game before I spend. So I spent $193.00 -- System+Game+government tax, went home and had a good time for about 2 hours (the battery died) and i waited for 4 hours and played it again!!!! Happy Ending Huh?

Its all smiles in the end.. sadly, my story is becoming a lot more complicated. :(

Mine was a lot different. I will just say this is my second DS in 24h. HAHA. Main lasted for 5h on initial charge.

Your not just a lucky teenager your a lucky teenager who now has a DS which is much better i can assure you. Oh well im going to cry if they try and shove mine through my letter box and damage my poor DS! Dead pixels maybe...? Who has got board of playing their DS yet? anyone?

Well the story of how i got my ds goes:My mom and me went to game stop and I sold 7 games and my game boy advance, then i asked if they had any more dses but they said no. :( (i pretty much knew they would not have them)But I would not give up I had to get my ds and i would not give up. the next i went to was compusa. they had not even got them yet. :evil: :( then the last store I was going to try curcit city With my fingers crossed i rushed to the back(where the video games were). then to my surprise there were like eight boxes. :D But to my surprise there was nothing in it. :evil: but ilooked at the other side then i picked up the box on the side with some hope :) but it was empty :evil: then i asked the person who worked here what to do (almost crying he said if its in stock u have to go up to the front. i waited for sooooo long then when i finally got up there she said you have to go to custumer service :shock: so i waited eagerly for the woman in front of me to go then i gave her the ds box and she went back there and came back in thirty seconds. she looked like she knew where to go :D :? but she only came back with one box then i started geting worried (i thought this was the empty box).But she put it on the table and started scanning it. then i weighed it and it sure felt like it had a ds in it. :D :P 8) :lol: :o :) :shock: no dead pixsles! (this happened tuesday)
