Wrong. There is no way to run code from the GBA slot without a passme. I'm sure they will just sell the M3 with a passme that they will rename to something like neoflash's "magic key."

Skabio...
Pilot was 100% right...
You don't need a PassME, (what they are calling) a passkey is included.

Also,
There are a couple of ways to run code from the GBA slot without a passme...
These are called FlashMe and WifMe.

RE: Re: RE: M3 Movie Player

Just look at all those features, too much to absorb in one read and it probably does a lot more than PSP.

Well, with homebrew removed from Euro psps right out of the box, I'd say so.

PassMe, PassKey, Magic Key.... they are all the same thing.

You are incorrect however as the WifiMe method does not run code from the GBA slot it simply downloads the code into ram via a Wireless card and the DS download play option.

FlashMe still requires a PassMe inorder to flash the DS.

Therefore as I said there is no way to load code from the GBA slot without a PassMe....

RE: Re: RE: Online Block Party

Once a DS is flashed it no longer requires a PassMe (it can also be flashed with WifiME)

You seem to know little about WifiMe:
take a closer look here: http://www.aaronrogers.com/nintendods/wifime.php

But you still need a passMe to get it flashed there for a PassMe is required. The only point I was trying to make is that the makers of M3 didn't come up with some new way of booting from the gba slot. They will still have to sell a PassMe (PassKey or what ever) with it to be usefull to most people. Unless you really think every person who buys an M3 is going to also have a very specific wireless card and flash their DS via WifiMe.

You are correct you don't need a PassMe to flash a DS via WifiMe, I forgot, my bad.

Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: M3 Movie Player

So, this PassMe. Can I use it do download demo's "wirelessly" via my router? Or... can I do it via SD/CF card as well?

And there are rumours that this is fake.. hope not =/

And where can I purchase a PassMe?
