RE: Guild Wars

Best I can figure this is from the same people who made my GBA Movie Advance player...
and it seems like they worked out some bugs..
A recent update (err... darkfader hack) will let you use GBA Movie Advance on the DS, but you still need a PassMe (or wifime or Flashme). Plus your limited to the 4MB's of DS rams for games/programs.

M3 GameBoy Advance Movie Player for Nintendo DS

M3 is saying they’re about to unleash the SD/CF cartridge they’ve developed specifically for Nintendo DS hardware that brings the goodness of the GBA Movie Player to that console. The device plugs into your DS and lets you watch movies, listen to music, view images and e-books, and play NDS and GBA game ROMs. No price is yet listed, but the developers appear to be aiming for a release in the next few weeks.

See more - http://www.m3adapter.com/
Features - Directly run FC, NES, SNES, GB, GBC , SMS, and other roms without any additional software! Relive the days of classic gaming right from the palm of your hand.
- Support running games/program/data in any sizes (M3).
- Play movies un cropped/Full Screen (unlike GBA movie advance, play-yan or other GBA devices)

RE: Re: Now Playing?

Good idea with the home brew, but as i said before, video streaming is going to be pretty useless on the DS.
If this is at the right price, i.e under £30 then i may consider for the home brew.

RE: Touchsreen

Looks promising, better than any of the others I've seen. A couple things missing: TV tuner or video inputs. At least I have a VCR hooked up to my VIVO, then all I need is something to write from my PC to the SD card and I can watch anything recorded from TV or even my PC (such as my gameplay and whatnot) on my DS.

RE: M3 Movie Player

I believe that was for the old GBA Movie Advance Player, this new one is made to work on DS so no PassMe needed. It actually looks like it has it's own sort of a PassMe thing, but that's probably the software (allowing a dual screen interface) while the GBA slot is used for the SD media.

RE: God Of War

So, what does PassMe do? It allows easy homebrewing?

RE: Post your Doodles!

I think it makes the ds think it has a DS cart in the gba slot, its what Doom DS is running on.
